WDC Local Plan Sustainability Assessment Consultant

Wealden District Council (WDC) is developing a new Local Plan. To support the development of the new Local Plan, the Council is required to undertake a Sustainability Appraisal (SA). The sustainability appraisal is an integral and important part of the plan-making process. It is used to test the evidence underpinning the plan and it also helps to demonstrate how the tests of soundness for the local plan have been met. The SA process must also be undertaken in accordance with the SEA Regulations.
