Work description
Torbay Council has been allocated funding from the national Multiply programme. The allocation is due to cover three financial years, ending on 31st March 2025. The Department of Education (DFE) will provide the funding for Multiply as a section 31 ringfenced grant, under the Local Government Act 2003. Multiply will aim to increase the levels of functional numeracy across the UK.
The purpose of this grant is to help adults across the UK improve their numeracy skills and mitigate or remove adult numeracy-associated barriers that are currently holding back residents in their lives and careers.
