## Description

In October 2022 the Tees Valley Mayor designated two new Mayoral Development Corporations \(MDC\), in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough, to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up\. It is anticipated that the Development Corporations will be established in legislation before the end of the year\. TVCA is currently working on masterplans for both MDC areas, which will set out the aims and ambitions for each area, along with high level details on the key projects to be delivered\.
