## Description

The main technology \(enterprise resource planning\) solution in play to support these activities is a shared instance of Oracle R12 \(known as SOP\), which has limited functionality around data collection, master data management, data translation/transformation, analysis/insight and reporting\. To fill capability gaps, CO People and Places \(P&P\) bought a SaaS \(software as a service\) workforce planning data solution in March 2020, as an interim solution until a new ERP system is implemented\.
