## Description

To provide security services at Leigh Sports Village including the provision of manned security guarding by trained, vetted and Security Industry Authority \(SIA\) licensed staff, CCTV monitoring and a range of related services at Leigh Sports Village\. Additional information: Wigan Council is using the e-procurement portal known as The Chest at https://www\.the-chest\.org\.uk/ to conduct the procurement exercise\. To gain access to the tender documents applicants will need to register their details at the following link https://procontract\.due-north\.com/register\. Once registered applicants will be e-mailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the tender documents\. Leigh Sports Village is the biggest investment in public sports, recreational and educational facilities in Wigan Borough for many years and has transformed Leigh into one of the finest hubs of activity in the North West\. Leigh Sports Village provides state of the art facilities for sport, physical activity, education, health and leisure that serves the whole community\. Since the official opening of the Village by Her Majesty The Queen, the Village has gone from strength to strength in providing a range of activities for local people of all ages and backgrounds to hosting international sporting events\. Facilities at the Sports Village include; ? 12,000 capacity stadium home to Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club and both Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers U21?s teams\. ? Athletics Stadium home to Leigh Harriers Amateur Athletics Club ? Sports Arena with state of the art floodlit artificial sports pitches ?
