A supplier has been appointed to assess the open data about research landscape including the systems, platforms, services and projects providing this data, the frequency and methodology of data creation, the provenance and type of data, means of aggregation and sustainability of the provision in order to: to understand the level of provision of open data about research to identify any potential areas of growth and efficiencies, for example could the data be used to support ethical machine learning models or as a route to analysis models for HEIs not able to justify the use of commercial systems to identify opportunities for consolidated approaches to consider gaps Jisc may support
