We have found that students fail to arrange appropriate insurance provision for their personal possessions. Prohibiting factors include unaffordable cost; lack of knowledge; lack of time; and inability for international students to arrange insurance prior to arrival in the UK. For these reasons and as part of our ongoing commitment to improve the range of services offered to students, we are aiming to provide appropriate and cost effective insurance cover to all students within University accommodation.
