## Description

CQC is the regulator for health and social care in England\. Arising from CQC's emergent strategy for 2021-2025 there is a renewed focus on upskilling colleagues who work in all engagement roles \(with a particular emphasis on those engaging with public, provider, internal and stakeholder audiences\) with: • a shared understanding about a strategic planning approach to all communication • developing a consistent approach to writing and implementing communications and engagement strategies The OASIS \(Objective, Audience Insight, Strategy, Implementation and Scoring\) framework is the industry standard for government communication\. CQC is a member of the Government Communication Service \(GCS\) and wishes to harmonise the approach taken by its engagement professionals to strategic communication by systematic use of the principles contained within a framework such as OASIS\.
