## Description

The appointed laboratory will carry out the provision of services for the UK National Reference Laboratory for the Bacterial Contamination of Bivalve Molluscs\. The NRL for Bacterial contamination of Bivalve Molluscs plays a vital role in protecting consumers from illness that could arise from the consumption of unsafe live bivalve molluscs, by providing specialist advice and technical support to the UK enforcement process
