Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS)

Cornwall Council has a specific duty to provide information, advice and support service to children, their parents and carers and young people with SEND (special educational needs and/or disability) as defined in Parts 19 and 32 of the Children and Families Act 2014. The provision of this service enables Cornwall Council to fulfil its obligations in line with the 2015 SEND Code of Practice and the Quality Standards for Services Providing Impartial Information, Advice and Support that provide a framework to support the Code of Practise.
