Description
Southampton City Council (the "Council") and Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group (the "CCG"), working jointly as the Integrated Commissioning Unit (ICU) are bringing together two existing services to establish an all-age peer support service for people experiencing mental health difficulties in Southampton. The Council intends to contract with one Service Provider, but that Service Provider may involve collaboration between Service Providers or sub-contracting arrangements. Accordingly at certain points, this Service Specification is split into sections for children and young people, transition and adults. The Service Provider shall be based in their own premises and provide the Service in venues and locations which maximise accessibility and safety to Service Users across the City and maximise the use of community venues.
