Great Wood Camp Catering Contract 2016

Great Wood Camp is an Outdoor Residential Centre which is leased from The Great Wood Trust by Somerset Outdoor & Residential Learning Service (SORLS), part of Somerset County Council. SORLS hire the centre from the beginning of March to the end of October, Monday to Friday during term time only, with the occasional weekend booking. The camp is set in a rural location nestled in woodland in the middle of the Quantock Hills (for location see appendix H). Administration is undertaken at SORLS main office at Kilve Court, Kilve, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA5 1EA

Caterers will be required to provide a substantial breakfast, lunch and evening meal with refreshments available throughout the day to all SORLS bookings at Great Wood as described in the attached Specification and Scope. A sample of a typical day?s catering requirements are shown in appendix 1, however there is the need for a certain amount of flexibility to ensure that customer expectations are met throughout the season.
