Removal and Disposal of Contaminated / Bio-hazardous Waste

Description

To procure a Council-wide safe collection and disposal call-out service for Bio-hazardous and Contaminated Waste across the Doncaster Borough. When serious incidents occur the call-out service may be required at any time, 24 hours per day, every day of the year, with a 1 hour response required. The scope of the Contract includes (but is not limited to) the safe removal and disposal of: • Asbestos (Cement, soil contaminated by asbestos, asbestos sheets) • Body fluids and tissue human and/or animal (blood, faeces, urine, skin) • Sharps (needles, syringes) • Known and unknown liquids and hazardous waste (liquids, powders and solids) Additional information: Please note - There has been a delay in publishing this Notice Onto Contracts Finder notice due to a problem with our e-tendering system that is currently being rectified.
