The Council's requirement under this Contract is for Cloud and On-premises solution for disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements\. In summary: 1\. To provide backup as a service o Capability to provide continued or scheduled backups for data protection o Immutable backup protection o Insider Protection o Encryption at rest and in transit 2\. Disaster Recovery as a service o Provision to restore and host 100% of virtual server environment to match or exceed the performance of Thurrock's network o Provide private cloud compute to run a number of Active-Active services 3\. Provide physical rackspace for potential hardware i\.e\. Physical firewalls\. 4\. Provide a private cloud for core Active-Active services\. 5\. Provide a Sandbox environment and support services for Bi-annual BCP testing \(4-week event twice a year\)\. Additional information: Thurrock Council uses In-tend for all its tendering activity\.
