Work description
This work is being undertaken by the Environment Agency to understand the likely scale and locations of Ground Source Heating and Cooling (GSHC) system installations and whether they could impact the local or wider environment individually, cumulatively and in combination with other anthropogenic warming. This work forms part of the wider programme on Net Zero technologies to understand the potential environmental and human health risks so that they can be effectively monitored and managed.
