PURCON 2042 Research Funding Audits - AWARD

Description

The UEA research / innovation project portfolio currently comprises approx. 800 projects with a combined value of circa £100M and an annual expenditure of around £35 million. We are required to evidence independent evaluation of our financial processes and procedures to support claims for grants funded by the European Union, Innovate UK, and US Federal funds currently but may also require independent financial assurance for other funding sources should these be secured. We seek an auditor with expert knowledge of research funding programmes willing to become familiar with relevant UEA post-award systems and processes to deliver assurance requirements. We also rely on our audit service to keep us updated on relevant research and enterprise developments and lobby for policy changes via attendance at professional events and by maintaining networks with other professionals and professional bodies.
