0962 - Essex Schools SuDS and Green Infrastructure (GI) Initiative

Description

The SuDS and GI programme is funded by Essex County Council, Department of Education, and Anglian Water. The programme is aimed at improving school building and site resistance and resilience to future flooding events. Essex County Council's requirement was to engage a Contractor to manage and deliver the project to schools within Essex. This will involve the delivery of 8 completed landscape level resilience installations. The Contractor must have capacity to promote, administer and project manage the complete project, including any required site surveys, detailed designs and installation of measures. The Contractor is also responsible for engaging/working with each school. The project has very specific budgetary constraints that must be adhered to for the life of the contract.
