BBC Consultancy Services Framework

The BBC has awarded a multi-supplier Consultancy Services framework providing the BBC access to suppliers that can individually supply a broad range of professional consultancy services. The framework has the capability to meet all the BBC's distinct service requirements across the 3 core disciplines of Strategy, Technology and Finance. The disciplines and a summary of the sub-criteria for each core discipline are:

Strategy - Corporate Strategy, Business Model Transformation, Economic Policy, Organisational Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Digital Strategy, Business Process Management, Outsourcing, Broadcast & Media

Technology - Technology Assessment, Technology Strategy, IT Industry Assessment, User Technology, IT Innovation, IT Transformation Management, IT Cyber Risk

Finance - Corporate Finance, Business Appraisal, Crisis & Recovery, Risk Management, Accounting Advisory, Tax Advisory, Real Estate Advisory, Forensics & Litigation.

The scope of the Framework will also include consultancy services for HR and Programme Management.

The framework will have a term of 4 years and the estimated spend is £4m per year. The estimated spend for the full 4 year term is a maximum of £16m.

Additional information: In the case of technology requirements, the BBC may involve its technology partner (Atos IT Solutions and Services Limited) to assist in the scoping and drafting of invitations to tender and/or the evaluation of tenders. However, the final decision as to which is the most economically advantageous (by reference to the award criteria) will be made by the BBC. The awarding authority reserves the right not to award a contract and to annul the procurement process at any stage. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in sterling and all payments will be made in sterling. The contract shall be subject to English law. The awarding authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any tender and reserves the right to accept part of a tender unless the tenderer expressly stipulates otherwise in the tender document.
