Services for external expert advice to Ministers and senior officials on the global gas and LNG markets and particular geopolitical discussions

The global gas market is experiencing unprecedented (record breaking) high prices as a consequence of a supply and demand imbalance. The market continues to try and resolve this imbalance whilst building expectations for the winter season in the Northern Hemisphere. This global situation is having a significant impact on the UK economy, society and energy security. Consequently UK Ministers are engaging internationally to strengthen UK relationships on natural gas and show international leadership to support activities to help resolve the imbalance. As part of this, Ministers are seeking independent external expert advice to support these activities.
