Work description
To renew the existing contract for the supply of certain residual telephone lines and audio-conferencing services. The ability to add and cease telephone/broadband for the duration of the contract.
Audio conferencing
The provision of audio-conferencing services on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis providing a facility for flexibility in the capacity supplied. Audio Conference usage for 2020 was 161,274 minutes - this will fluctuate and is used for guidance only.
The ability to provide secure audio-conferencing facilities with Courts on an ad-hoc basis. DVLA will provide notice where possible.
Call and Lines
Support the existing lines/circuits and if required the provision of new lines/circuits subject to site survey.
DVLA currently has three (3) Main Sites located in Swansea. These include: Morriston, Swansea Vale and Fforestfach.
Additionally, there are numerous home workers situated in residential sites across the UK. DVLA will work with the Supplier to provide a full list of Numbers and Services.
The circuits provided should include (although not be limited to): ISDN30; ISDN2; Broadband Circuits; Analogue Lines and any specialist services offered for example Redcare security.
There are also a number of non-geographic numbers to be supported.
Call usage is in the region of 132k call minutes per annum - this figure will fluctuate and is used for guidance only.
