## Description

Reading Borough Council wish to procure the services of a contractor to undertake the provision of planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and HVAC plant and associated systems\. The contract will cover approximately 224 properties / assets across the borough\. The service will include the provision of an emergency call-out service 365 days a year, 24 hours a day\. The proposed contract will be for an initial period of five \(5\) years commencing in October 2017, with an option to extend for a further two year extension\. The contracting authority anticipates that the Transfer of Undertaking \(Protection of Employment\) Regulations 2006 \(TUPE\) will not apply to this contract\.
