Provision of Education Psychologists to Provide Input in to K5 Assessments

The aim of this call-off i.e. this direct award within the Managing Consultancy and Professional Services (YPO) framework is to provide a pool of Educational Psychologists (EPS) which can be engaged for a period as required by Hampshire Isle of Wight Education Psychology Services (HIEPS) to produce statutory Educational Psychology Advice Reports (K5s) as part of the statutory Education, Health and Care Plan process.

All locums will all be Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) registered Practitioner Educational Psychologists with demonstrable experience of providing statutory EP advice for the EHCP process and will be accepted for this role by HIEPS after review of CVs and example ECHP advice recently completed by them.

It is expected that all assessments will be undertaken during term time so school staff can be accessed.

It is expected that most or all of the assessments undertaken will be done virtually, in line with HIEPs processes for virtual assessment. Face to face assessments are preferred where possible.
