Description
Marine Recorder is a software package developed under JNCC to hold standardised, harmonised and collated marine survey data including Marine Nature Conservation Review surveys. Details of the Marine Recorder system are provided here http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-1599 This includes a link to download the Marine Recorder Application and detailed manuals. Whilst JNCC is continuing to seek alternative solutions to this software using more modern infrastructure, due to IT and legacy issues, there is continued demand for technical support and minor developmental work and updates on the current system to ensure that it remains fit-for-purpose in the interim period. To meet the overall aim of this project (Section 2), the objectives are to: provide support to JNCC users of Marine Recorder and external users who are referred by JNCC, maintain essential updates to the reference data within the system such as the lists of standard biotopes and taxa, and undertake minor development work, where required, to fix or provide additional functionality. Additional information: You are invited by JNCC Support Co (JNCC) to submit a bid for the supply of works or services required under the above project. If interested, you should download and carefully read the documents contained within the zip file or by following the link or follow the link http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-7720 to download the documents.
