Work description
TfL currently has a programme of works to improve the condition of existing railway arches on the LU estate so that they can be let for commercial use. LUL own the freehold of a run of 31 predominately unused/operational arches beneath the Hammersmith & City line viaduct which lies adjacent to Wood Lane Station and at the centre of the White City Opportunity Area (WCOA). Power for some of the arches has already been sourced from a UKPN sub-station within Wood Lane station. A single supply has been taken from this sub-station to a new fuse-switch panel in a new switch room that has been constructed in Arch 86. The Scope of Works to be tendered is for the supply and installation of power to the arches (66-74) from this switch room. The works shall include the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning and setting to work all of the services.
We anticipate issuing tender documents for the above opportunity later this month (April 2023). If you are interested in bidding please send an email confirming your interest to: v_alexgordon@tfl.gov.uk by 5pm on 20th April 2023.
