Kingsgate Primary School - Expansion & Remodelling Phase 2 (JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor's Design 2011 (ICD 2011))

Description

The works are required to remodel the existing school buildings and support the expansion of the school to provide new school places for key stage 2 pupils. The works will involve demolition of part of the school building and the modular construction of a new building to provide an additional hall and library space. The works are to last for a period of 41 weeks (3 weeks mobilisation and 38 weeks construction). It is proposed to use a JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor's Design 2011 (ICD 2011). Prior to contract, the design of the works will be taken up to RIBA Stage 4.
