AAIB laptop refresh

Description

The current, Lenovo Yoga X1 Thinkpads, were issued approximately 3 years ago, and will shortly be out of warranty. In the last six months, there has been a growing percentage of them suffer various types of hardware failure. The growing number of failures and the lack of support for them has increased the urgent requirement for their replacement. Despite these recent failures the Branch has been impressed overall, with the capabilities of these Lenovo devices and with the level of support that Lenovo provide. Therefore, AAIB requires the Purchase of new Lenovo laptops that fulfil the business requirements of the Branch. The specification must include the requirements for office, remote working and accident deployments.
