Finsbury Leisure Centre & Residential Project - Pre-Construction Service Agreement

Finsbury Leisure Centre & Residential (FLCR) project requires a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) to provide contractor advice during design stages 3 and 4 of the project. This report sets out the results of a procurement exercise using the council New Build Framework Agreement to secure a contractor to undertake the PCSA. This is set out in the project contractor Procurement Strategy paper appended. The appointment of a contractor for the completion of the PCSA will serve to mitigate risk in the project by providing a pragmatic check on the developing design proposals in terms of buildability, logistics and costs. They will advise on the proposed form of construction, the choice of materials and method of assembly.
