Provision of Bulk Haulage

FCC Environment (Berkshire) Limited (FCCEB) run the operations for a 25 year PFI waste management contract with the re3 partnership. The re3 partnership consists of Reading Borough Council, Bracknell Forest Council & Wokingham Borough Council. FCCEB are currently seeking proposals to secure long term partnerships with strategic partners to service our requirements of bulk haulage from the Smallmead & Longshot Lane Transfer Stations. The term of the contract is 60 months, with the total tonnage per annum of circa 196,599, of which 80% is Residual Waste & Municipal, with the remaining 20% being Mixed Dry Recyclables & Green Waste. It is envisaged that the Effective Date for this contract will be 04/12/2016. This Bulk Haulage contract is currently procured every five years and this will be only the second time that this service has been procured as part of the PFI contract. As a result this contract presents interested service providers with a great opportunity for long term partnership working for a five year period and potentially beyond.

The services will be procured using a two stage restricted competitive tender procedure. The closing date for submission of a pre-qualification questionnaire is 09 June 2016. Organisations who wish to be considered for the contract should request a PQQ using the contact details below.
