Description

A full upgrade of the blue system is required, which will cover the controls system in its entirety, including hardware and software. The new macerator pumps will be retained. The Blue system must operate as a fully automatic process which neutralises the effluent produced in B270, including Chloros based disinfectants. The upgrade must provide a new, fully automatic, Redox dosing system for the neutralising of effluent loaded with Chloros based disinfectant to ensure effluent discharged to the public sewer system meets the requirements of Defra's Trade Effluent Consent Licence. The system will be able to process both fluids and solid matter typically found in the effluent produced in each facility and equipped with the relevant safety functions to prevent hazardous scenarios that might pose a threat to people and the environment.
