Medway Council would like to engage an experienced contractor at Great Lines Heritage Park in Chatham, Kent to resurface sections of the existing footpath network as indicated on the Location Plan with three different surfaces specified below. Other works include topping up the surfaces around 6 no. benches and removing concrete edging from previous contracted resurfacing works. Medway Council will consider alternative options on the footpath surfaces as certain sections have issues with drainage and slope erosion. If contractors feel there is a more appropriate solution to what is specified in this tender please provide further details in your tender return and why you think your solution will be more suitable.
