1.1 The Council is looking to set up a framework of providers for the delivery of initial and refresher Horticultural City & Guilds/NPTC accredited training and assessment as follows: Lot 1 • City & Guilds Level 2 Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross Cutting & Tree Felling up to 380mm (CS30/31) • City & Guilds Level 3 Felling & Processing Medium Trees up to 760mm (CS32). Lot 2 • City & Guilds Level 2 Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue Operations and Aerial Cutting/Free fall Techniques (CS38/39) • City & Guilds Level 3 Aerial Tree Pruning & Aerial Tree Rigging (CS40/41) Lot 3 • City & Guilds Level 3 Use of a Chainsaw from Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) (CS47) Lot 4 • City & Guilds Level 2 Powered Pole Pruner Maintenance and Operations (CS48) Lot 5 • City & Guilds Level 3 Emergency Treework Operations (CS50) Lot 6 • City & Guilds Level 2 Safe Use of Manually Fed Woodchipper
