Provision of ICS Ops Firm Base Support

ICS Ops is responsible for setting policy and strategy for Firm Base ICS for the Army and for overall management of its delivery. In some cases this means holding Defence Digital to account for major programmes such as MODNET, Global Connectivity (GC) and Integrated User Services (IUS) (telephony and related services). In other cases there is a need for closer management of projects either directly or through HQ Regional Command. Such projects include Defence Business Internet (DBI) and the rationalisation of Firm Base telephony and miscellaneous services.
