Work description
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is procuring a Grounds Maintenance Services Framework which will cover Gloucestershire and be available for use by other public sector bodies as appropriate. This will include: Schools (96), Libraries (19), Social Services (32), Shire Hall, Cheltenham County Offices, Registry Offices (1), Children's Centres (19) Youth & Community (3), Coroner's Office, Colwell, Police Stations (1) Gloucester Records & Miscellaneous property (18) The current arrangement for Grounds Maintenance expires end March 2020 and the contract cost is approximately £407,000 per annum. The Grounds Maintenance Services Framework consists of 6 Lots of between approximately 25 to 50 sites, each Lot relating to geographical areas: Lot 1 - Tewkesbury and North Cotswolds, Lot 2 - South Cotswolds, Lot 3 - Forest of Dean, Lot 4 - Gloucester, Lot 5 - Cheltenham and Lot 6 - Stroud This Framework will be effective from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2024. The estimated total framework value is £1,628,000.00 over its term. Multiple site grounds maintenance contracts will be let for SIX different geographical areas. The Framework will be used to enable sites to call off a maximum of 6 year contracts for grounds maintenance services.
The Call Off contract will be let for a six (6) year period commencing 1st April 2020 and ending on 31st March 2026. The estimated total call off contract value is £2,442,000.00 over its 6 years term.
