PMO Admin Officer EO

The candidate will work within the SPS Borders and Boundaries Directorate. SPS Borders and Boundaries is playing the lead role on EU Exit transition period implementation of the import and export regime between the UK and the EU and Northern Ireland. By working closely with delivery partners and across other government departments, we aim to ensure the UK maintains or further enhances its high standards of food and welfare, including biosecurity. We also work to ensure that after the transition period, imports and exports of animals and food goods can take place with minimum friction and our trading partners can trust our systems and goods through our world class trading system. The post holder is required to work across Operability, Readiness and Stakeholder Engagement workstreams to support with admin requirements.
