Second review of data and methods to calculate greenhouse gas emissions from alternative fuel transport

Description

The project will review the available data on alternative fuel vehicles. A similar review was conducted in 2013, but this is an area of rapid technological development so we feel that it is necessary to revisit this five years on. The output will be a report on the current status of the uptake of alternative fuel vehicles on the UK's roads, and an examination of technologies that may become relevant in the next five years. Outcomes will be recommendations to the GHGI on how to include these technologies in future submissions. This will be procured through Lot 22 of the BEIS Energy Technical Specialists framework.
