Westminster City Council and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) is recommissioning a bi-borough Family Group Conferences (FGC).

The coordination and delivery of Family Group Conferences (FGC) provides support to the families engaged with Children's Services to find their own solutions to their problems in meeting the child's needs with the following desired outcomes:

· Providing FGCs as required by Children and Families Social Work Teams. · Establishing FGCs before court proceedings so that agreed plans can feed into court decisions. · Reduce the number and length of care proceedings. · Improving quality and outcomes for the child and family.
