## Description

Tenders are invited for the provision of for the management of the Councils' fleet tyres including the supply of vehicle tyres and related, ancillary products and services for a variety of local-authority vehicles\. A complete definition of the required products and services are defined in the procurement documents\. Services include, but are not limited to: \(a\) ensuring that vehicles are in a safe and legally compliant condition at all times \(in respect of tyres and ancillary components\); \(b\) attending to vehicle breakdowns resulting from tyre faults and rectifying these faults; and \(c\) rectifying any damage consequent to tyre faults such as punctures; and \(d\) monitoring tyre condition for wear and damage on a routine basis; and \(e\) supplying and replacing tyres which have reached or are nearing the end of their usable life; and \(f\) carrying out any ancillary \(to tyres\) services required such as: • tyre disposal • tyre valve and valve extension replacement • wheel balance • calibration and adjustment of vehicle tracking • turn on the rim and twinning • tyre re-treading and grooving • fitting wheel nut indicators or ring clips as required by the Councils
