## Description

One number Express 630kg 10 person traction lift is installed in the Centre Core, Main Hospital block of Arrowe Park Hospital\. The lift has been in service since 1982 and is required to be completely upgraded and modernised to comply with the requirements of HTM08, EN 81, Health and Safety at Work act 1974, lifting operations and lifting equipment regulation 1998, BS 5655, BS 7255 and provision and use of work equipment 1998\. Also, the DDA requirements of 2004 are required\. The existing lift details are as follows 630 kg 10 person lift 5 floors of travel Total travel distance 14\.35 metres \(55ft 1 ½ inches\) Speed 200fpm Lift Motor : Bull 2 speed Control System: APB Ropes 6-Off 11mm diameter
