Description
Cornwall Council is conducting a market assessment to gain an understanding of the potential level of interest in delivering bathroom adaptations for residents across Cornwall. The scope and scale of the work can vary dependant on resident needs, but a typical job would involve the contractor removing a bath and installing a new level access shower, sanitary ware and non-slip flooring. Contractors are currently being appointed using Plymouth City Council's Adaptations, Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (ARMI) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), administered by Independence CIC. There is a significant pipeline of work available so contractors not already registered can learn more about the DPS and can apply for admission by visiting https://www.incic.org.uk/. In addition to the INCIC Dynamic Purchasing system, we are also considering alternative approaches to contracting, including allocating work via alternative local and national Dynamic Purchasing Systems, Frameworks and openly tendering bulk packages of work as appropriate. If you are a contractor currently providing or considering providing bathroom adaptation services, your assistance in returning the requested in the attached soft market test document would be greatly appreciated.
