## Description

DCMS are developing our diversification strategy and, in particular, are considering investing in research and development and in building partnerships \(between key players - operators, vendors, research institutions and other third parties\) - to facilitate and promote the use of multiple vendors in a single network as standard across the industry and the shifting of the market towards open architectures such as OpenRAN\. DCMS are seeking to appoint a Provider to identify and assess the impacts \(benefits and costs\) of our diversification policy options\. The assessment will be used for producing BCRs \(analysis/models\) to support the economic business case for our proposals to achieve the diversification objectives and outcomes\.
