Minerva - Integration and Facilitation

Description

The UK MOD is undertaking research and development of an autonomous man overboard recovery system to reduce risk of life in hazardous maritime environments. As part of the development of the system the UK MOD intends to contract Malloy Aeronautics Ltd to undertake integration and test facilitation activities on an Authority-owned Malloy TRV-80 Unmanned Air System. This procurement will be conducted as a Negotiated procedure without Prior Publication under PCR 2015 Regulation 32(2)(b)(iii) due to Malloy Aeronautic Ltd's exclusive rights as the original equipment manufacturer. The Authority does not commit itself to any future single source purchases based on the results of this procurement.
