National Process Evaluation of Community Accommodation Service Tier 1 (CAS1)

Description

This Research is to commission a one wave process evaluation of Community Accommodation Service Tier 1 (CAS1). CAS1 uses Approved Premises (AP) as temporary residential accommodation providing intensive supervision and structure to support individuals leaving custody who are assessed as posing a higher risk of serious harm. This evaluation aims to provide a comprehensive, system-wide understanding of how AP services are delivered across England and Wales, how this delivery varies between sites and regions, and how the AP estate contributes to rehabilitation, recovery, and public protection.
