Work description
A programme to ensure school children develop an understanding of their local heritage and its significance.
Heritage Schools is a programme that aims to ensure children grow up with a connection to their local area founded on a deep understanding of its heritage and its place in the national story. The programme has been running since 2012 and is funded by the Department for Education.
