## Description

The Housing Service management information system \(NEC Software Solutions Limited - previously known as Northgate\) is the core IT system we use to hold most of our landlord information and transactions, including elements such as tenancy and neighbourhood services and rent setting\. As a result of IT developments, we must now re-platform the system, before December 2022, as the AIX servers \(the current IT infrastructure that hosts these systems\) are no longer supported by the provider\. This also aligns with the decommissioning of the LGSS Northants Data Centre, whereby all core systems must be moved to the Cloud\.
