## Description

During FY 23/24 \(Phase 2a\) we let a contract with UKCEH to launch a Beta Version of the UK domestic Saltmarsh Code, this has included the design of monitoring, reporting and verification \(MRV\) procedures; producing carbon calculators; and exploring code governance and ownership models\. As well as designing the code itself, drafting it to a pilot phase\.   During FY 24/25 \(Phase 2b\) we will expand on this work, and by Summer 2025 version 1 of the UK Saltmarsh Code will be available for pilot sites to use, following a testing stage and further development of key areas identified within Phase 1\.
