T0412 (DfT) Independent Assurance Services for the Transforming Cities Fund in DfT

Description

The Department for Transport ('The Department') requires independent advice and assurance on the delivery plans of cities receiving transport funding from the Transforming Cities Fund (TCF). In addition, analysis is now needed to understand the causation of delays and the lessons to be learned. This will help to ensure the remaining capital funding being distributed through grants can achieve its aim of driving up productivity through investments in public and sustainable transport infrastructure in some of England's largest city regions within the available funding envelope and in a timely manner
