Description
National Highways requires a consultant to develop a comprehensive, evidence based Electric Vehicle Strategy and Delivery Plan that will enable the organisation's transition to a fully electric fleet and supporting infrastructure. This includes assessing current and future energy demand across all sites, defining technical and operational requirements for Electric Vehicle charge points, identifying and evaluating energy provision and storage solutions, engaging with stakeholders, analysing fleet usage and working practices, ensuring digital and cyber security compliance, developing specifications for national rollout, designing procurement and delivery approaches, preparing a full business case, and producing a resilient implementation programme that aligns with operational needs, grid constraints, and the organisation's net zero commitments.
