Borough Council Wellingborough Tender for Replacement Auditorium Seating at Castle Theatre

Castle Theatre opened in 1995 and in those 24 years the venue has welcomed 1000's of customers. Apart from the odd repair, the main auditorium is still being serviced by the original seating. Using capital funding granted by the Borough Council of Wellingborough (BCW), we are seeking to replace all seats in the auditorium. The seating replacement will not only revamp the main auditorium aesthetically, but provide comfort and quality for our customers increasing their overall experience when visiting the theatre. We are seeking to explore the possibilities of increasing the capacity slightly, by replacing seats which are currently not sold on the seating plan. The current seating is in a state of disrepair and is not fit for purpose. As detailed in the specification, we expect the installation of the new seating to take place between 19 August 2019 and 1 September 2019.
