## Description

The London Borough of Merton \(LBM\) has a requirement for experienced providers for the provision of Substance Misuse \(Drugs and Alcohol\) Inpatient Detoxification\. The service is to be commissioned with strong recovery outcomes\. Inpatient alcohol & drug detoxification usually involve short episodes of hospital based \(or equivalent\) drug and/or alcohol medical treatment\. This normally includes 24-hour medical cover and multidisciplinary team support\. This tender for inpatient alcohol & drug detoxification seeks to ensure a range of provision to allow choice in placements, and to maximise treatment outcomes for each service user\. Therefore, we will be procuring this service in two \(2\) Lots: Tenderers can submit a bid for Lot 1 or Lot 2 or for both Lot 1 and Lot 2\. • Lot one \(1\) Medically managed treatment \(Complex\) and, Medically monitored \(Non Complex\)\. This is to be delivered by a maximum of one \(1\) provider\. • Lot Two \(2\) Medically monitored \(Non Complex\) only\. This is to be delivered by a maximum of two \(2\) providers\. Providers may either bid for an individual Lot, or submit bids for both Lots\.
