(NU/1657) The Supply and Installation of Robots for Nucleic Acid Extraction, Library Preparation and qPCR

At Newcastle University researchers are looking to acquire equipment to automate processing of DNA and RNA samples and liquid handling including the library preparation and setting up qPCR reactions. The sample types will vary and will include stool, tissue, and swabs. The equipment will mainly be used in a research programme on microbiomes to be analysed from stool samples. Suppliers should offer equipment which is compatible for use with QIAGEN QIAamp 96 PowerFecal QIAcube HT Kits. Equivalent kits may be offered but results must show similar microbiome profiles to those obtained from the Qiagen kits.
